This home was built in 1910 and had plenty of inherent charm but felt small and choppy with walls and too many hallways. Now the original details like exposed brick, pocket doors, and beautiful windows can be admired from the entire open first floor.

  • Installed half bath and tile floor

  • Preserved and relocated vintage pocket doors

  • Completely renovated kitchen: custom cabinets, new appliances, back splash to ceiling, under-cabinet lights, and quartz counter tops

  • Finger jointed new pre-finished hardwoods to match existing floors

Project Details

  • Removed interior walls and to create open-concept feel

  • Installed engineered design bearing beams to eliminate the existing posts in the rooms

  • Removed old staircase and replaced with oak

  • Opened old staircase wall up 5 stair treads and installed railing with pickets
